The Psychiatric Center at Songde branch is the key psychiatry medical and research center of Northern Taiwan, connecting all the community psychiatric care units in a network and providing various psychiatric therapies and training, such as general psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry,geriatric psychiatry, psychosomatic medicine, alcohol and drug addiction, etc.
>The concept and recent development in addictionscience.
>Alcohol detoxification and treatment of alcohol dependence. >Evaluation and management of individuals with illicit drug buse.
>Contingency management for the rehabilitation program in criminal-justice system.
>Inpatient and outpatient clinical training, including pharmacotherapy, withdrawal management and abstinence maintenance program.
>Opioid substitution treatment program, including the use of methadone and buprenorphin.
>Special treatment modality including individual psychotherapy, group psychotherapy, family therapy, motivational enhancement, and relapse prevention.
