The five Division of Infectious Diseases from previous different hospitals (Zhongxing Branch, Renai Branch, Heping Fuyou Branch, Zhongxiao Branch and Yangming Branch) have merged together and become the “Division of Infectious Diseases” of Taipei City Hospital, which was formally opened on January 1, 2005, with the hope of providing all the citizens with high quality medical services.

Report of statutory communicable diseases.
Establishment and excution of the strategies to control nosocomial infections.
The offering of education program in infectious diseases to interns, resident doctors and other paramedicals.
